The therapeutic relationship is uniquely able to bring change to your life. When you come to individual counseling, you have a space centered on you, free of judgment, focused exclusively on bringing hope and positive impact to your life. It gives you the space to work on yourself and to see yourself more clearly.

You can expect for therapy to at times feel like a hike in the woods. There will be times when we are beginning a trail, excited to see where it goes. There will be times when the trail is getting difficult and seems like it is going uphill for days. Further still, there will be times where it feels like we are completely off trail, searching the deep woods where the matters of the heart most often live. Sometimes we will misstep or stumble over each other. Counseling is collaborative and fulfilling. I'm honored to walk with you and be a witness to your story.

Your individual therapy experience is significantly built on your expectations and what you want to get out of it. You take an active role in creating what works for you and what doesn't. That being said, if you are new to counseling you might not know what works best for you. I'll help you craft that as we collaborate and address the things in life that are on your mind.
